I got 33, but missed Clearwater simply because it didn't occur to me that it needed both names. Also, if I had slowed down and not given up so quickly I should have been able to get nurmengard, I just misread the question
I thought about non-wizards for the pure blood question, but never would have come up with her name. And also, I was spelling spattergroit without the second r as well, and couldn't figure out what the disease should be.
You did great work! Remus mentions Davey Gudgeon in the Marauder's Map chapter, after Harry says the Whomping Willow crushed his broomstick: "They planted the Whomping Willow the same year that I arrived at Hogwarts. People used to play a game, trying to get near enough to touch the trunk. In the end, a boy called Davey Gudgeon nearly lost an eye, and we were forbidden to go near it. No broomstick would have a chance."

I hate coffee too, so this is the best way to start the week. I also missed Gudgeon and forgot the last R in a word (Morsmordre for me)
I got 34/40. I can't believe you actually got the Fridwulfa question! I mean that one was really crazy 😀
